Salawa Abeeni In Hospital After Unfortunate Incident

Waka music Originator, Queen Salawa Abeeni was involved in a major accident over the weekend.
The fuji star who was quite popular in the 80’s and 90’s had at an accident at the City People Fashion Awards, which took place on Sunday, 18th of October 2015 at The New Westown Banquets, Ikeja.

Sources said she arrived the venue and prepared to alight from her vehicle when she suddenly missed her footstep resulting to a high impact fall to the ground.

She was reportedly rushed to one Triumph hospital on unity road, Ikeja for swift treatment.
GoldmyneTV paid a visit to her at the hospital and were informed by the Doctors on duty about the stability of her health and they said she is out of danger and would be discharged soon.
Salawa Abeeni began her professional career in waka music when she released her debut album, Late General Murtala Ramat Mohammed , in 1976, on Leader Records. It became the first recording by a female artist to sell over a million copies in Nigeria.
